Please allow 10-15 minutes to complete this application.

Upright Media is working with one of the largest family entertainment brands on YouTube to find a Director of Short Form Content to lead the next evolution of its social media strategy.

This isn’t a typical social media manager role.  This is a YouTube-first leadership position for someone who understands how to build fandom, grow audiences, capitalize on trends, and turn every long-form video into a high-performing ecosystem of short-form content.

You’ll lead the social strategy across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Snapchat, Facebook, X, and emerging platforms while managing a growing team responsible for keeping tens of millions of fans engaged every single day.

You’ll be responsible for: • Building and leading the overall short-form and social strategy • Managing a team of social media creators and community managers • Turning long-form YouTube content into platform-native short-form hits • Using analytics, experimentation, and audience insights to drive creative decisions • Collaborating with production, marketing, and live experiences to grow both digital fandom and real-world engagement

The ideal candidate: • Has 5+ years leading social media for a major creator, entertainment brand, or digital media company • Lives and breathes TikTok, Reels, Shorts, Snapchat, and internet culture • Understands audience psychology, algorithms, packaging, and performance optimization • Can balance creative instincts with data-driven decision making • Has experience leading and developing a high-performing social media team

This is a rare opportunity to help shape one of YouTube’s largest entertainment franchises with tens of millions of subscribers, billions of views, and an incredibly passionate global fanbase.

THIS ROLE IS 100% IN-OFFICE IN LAS VEGAS, NV.
