Job Description:
We’re looking for a skilled and creative Podcast Editor to lead the post-production process on high-quality, engaging podcasts — both in audio and video formats. This person will be responsible for turning raw recordings into polished, professional content that entertains, informs, and retains audiences across platforms. They’ll collaborate closely with producers, hosts, and creative teams to ensure every episode meets a high standard of storytelling, pacing, and technical quality.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned audio editor with a strong background in podcast production and a bonus skill set in video podcast editing. They thrive in an independent, project-based environment and take pride in delivering episodes that sound (and look) exceptional.

What You’ll Do
– Edit podcast audio and video episodes from raw recordings to fully polished content.
– Apply sound design, noise reduction, leveling, and mastering to create a clean and professional listening experience.
– Edit video versions of podcasts for visual platforms, including cutting multi-camera setups and integrating branding elements.
– Assist with repurposing long-form podcast content into short-form clips for social media when needed.
– Implement notes and feedback from producers and stakeholders in a timely manner.
– Maintain organized project files, naming conventions, and version control.
– Troubleshoot technical issues related to audio quality, remote recordings, or video sources.
– Collaborate with producers and hosts to ensure creative integrity and storytelling impact.
– Deliver projects on schedule while managing multiple episodes across different shows.
Preferred Requirements
– 3+ years of podcast post-production experience.
– A strong portfolio of podcast editing work with successful or well-known shows.
– Proficiency in audio editing software such as Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Reaper, or similar.
– Experience editing and delivering video podcast content (Premiere Pro or similar NLE).
– Experience with multitrack audio editing, EQ, compression, sound design, and mastering.
– Familiarity with remote recording setups and file management.
– Organized and efficient; comfortable working project-based with tight deadlines.
– Proficiency in Google Suite, Frame.io, Slack, and Monday.com (preferred but not required).
